In previous races at the French MotoGP, Stoner appeared very dominant when reaching the podium first. These results provide a position to second place moto GP championship, with only 12 points away from championship leader Jorge Lorenzo.

When it comes to face Jorge Lorenzo who last season won the Catalunya Grand Prix, but Stoner also must compete with the Ducati Valentino Rossi who holds the best record at the Catalunya MotoGP since the era began.
As for Dani Pedrosa who failed to recover from the collarbone injury just in time. Consequently, Repsol Honda rider from Spain was not able to take part in this weekend’s Catalunya MotoGP which in fact is the country Pedrosa.
Pedrosa injured after falling from the French MotoGP bike in the race two weeks ago. At that time, touched with a motor bike Marco Simoncelli.
